Tater Tot Casserole

Tater Tot Casserole
- 3 cups Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 package frozen tarot tots
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef browned
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup frozen peas
- Salt and pepper
- Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In a sauté pan, add butter or butter flavored olive oil to the pan and sauté the mushrooms with garlic powder and onion salt.
- Add fresh ground pepper to the sauté pan.
- Cook until the mushrooms have reduced and then sprinkle with flour stir well and then quickly add the milk while you continue stirring to create a gravy sauce.
- Stir in the cooked ground beef and the peas.
- Remove from heat and line up tater tot‘s all over the top of the beef mixture.
- Spray the tater tot‘s with nonstick cooking spray in place in the oven to cook for 30 minutes.
