Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook diminishes himself as a league star by carrying on his childish grudge against Oklahoman Columnist Berry Tramel.
Here’s what you had to say about it:
Matt first, “I couldn't agree more. Just like in the game, he needs to start putting the team before himself. I would rather him be (mad) then quiet.”
But Linda from Shawnee writes, "I'm with Westy. Trammel is NOT fair to him! I've seen it quite a few times in the paper."
And Dee adds, "Tramel has crossed that line numerous times. Thunder has brought us so much and the least we can do is support them"
That is not Tramel's job.
Sara from Hinton, "I expect nothing less. Athletes aren't rewarded for being good adults with grown up behavior."
John writes, "The team has overlooked his tantrums over that time for fear of what he might say or do to them… Tramel may not be to Westbrook's taste as a columnist, but it wouldn't hurt his career in the slightest to show some civility and answer a few hard questions from the local media."
From Karsyn, "Tramel has been a jerk for a long time. I wouldn't say he was "fair" prior to Westbrook telling him he didn't like him."
Finally, Dottie says, "Both he and Westbrook are probably too big for their britches, but I'm siding with Russell on this one. At least he has youth as an excuse."
