My 2 Cents: Memo Raises Questions About Former U.S. Deputy AG Rob Rosenstein

A conservative watchdog group that filed a Freedom of Information Request seven months ago, finally received a two-page memo that they'd requested, and it raises even more questions about what's been going on in Washington DC.

The memo was written by former "acting" FBI Director Andrew McCabe, and it's his recollection of a meeting with other Justice Department employees.

Most notable in that meeting was Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general for the United States.

It was two years ago that McCabe was there to inform Rosenstein that he had launched an investigation into the Trump administration and alleged collusion with the Russians. That's when, according to McCabe, Rosenstein dropped a doozy on them, offering to wear a wire into the Oval Office to record the president.

Rosenstein has since claimed he was joking about wearing a wire, but McCabe's notes after the meeting don't indicate that, and in fact, he recalls responding by telling Rosenstein he'd check with his investigative team and get back with him on it.

Stunning if corroborated by someone else in the meeting that the deputy AG was willing to spy on the president in the Oval Office.

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
