Union City Police Officer Terminated After Child Porn Arrest

A Union City police officer was fired Thursday after he was arrested for allegedly downloading images of child pornography.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation contacted the Union City Police Department and interviewed Officer Eric D. Buehre "over the course of several hours," according to a Union City press release.

The OSBI arrested Buehre and transported him to the Canadian County Sheriff's Office Detention Center.

The investigation in this case is still ongoing.
