Oklahoma State Basketball Signee Cade Cunningham Named Naismith High School Player Of The Year
One of the most heralded recruits in Oklahoma State men's basketball history added to his trophy case Wednesday.
Cade Cunningham, the 6-foot-7 guard considered the top high school recruit by USA Today and Rivals, was named as the Naismith High School Player of the Year.
He joins a celebrated list of high school, collegiate and NBA greats such as Alonzo Mourning, Chris Webber, Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James to win the Naismith High School Player of the Year award.
Cunningham's former teammate at Montverde Academy, current New York Knicks rookie R.J. Barrett, earned the same honor in 2018.
