Several volunteer fire departments responded to a large grass fire Saturday in Langston.

Authorities said a total of five homes caught fire.

Four of the five homes were destroyed.

Guthrie Fire Chief Eric Harlow confirmed to News 9 that the fire started at a house in a residential neighborhood before quickly spreading three blocks.

One firefighter was taken to a hospital due to injury and smoke inhalation.

This is a developing story.
