In Oklahoma, many travelers are scrambling to cancel or reschedule their spring break vacations due to coronavirus.

Rebecca Payne Field and her family and friends were headed to Italy until this week when they postponed the once in lifetime vacation until November.

The group of ten was flying to London on Delta then using another airline.

Delta said this week it would wave transfer fees in the wake of the pandemic.

Since the group isn’t flying Delta directly into Italy, Field said the airline hasn’t been helpful.

“It’s been constant on the phone with them, back and forth. The frustration level has been through the roof,” said Field.

Field is now fighting a transfer charge of $1,000 per ticket and upgrades that were already paid for, but aren't being honored.

Meanwhile, the group's VRBO house canceled their reservation but still charged the family and the owners haven't been communicating.

“The biggest frustration has been the lack of communication,” added Field.
