BERT Students Receive Support On Local And National Scale
As BERT students' protest enters its third day at Evans Hall, local and statewide organizations have thrown their public support behind the group.
The university's Panhellenic Association announced that it took over OU's Think Tank at the Union this morning and will not leave until authoritative action is taken.
The Big XII Council on Black Student Government, comprised of the same universities that compete with Oklahoma in the Big 12 athletic conference, released a letter of support on Thursday morning.
The Oklahoma Center for Reproductive Justice also put out a release in solidarity with BERT late Thursday.

An OU spokesperson told News 9's Ashley Holden Friday that the university has received BERT's additional six demands. The spokesperson said that the university thinks any movement or decision on those demands will not be announced until later Friday.
