Tinker Air Force base has given the "all-clear" after being placed on a brief lockdown Thursday.

Just before 3 p.m. the base posted to twitter saying "seek shelter and apply appropriate procedures as necessary."

Officials with Tinker said the lockdown was implemented after reports of a "brandished firearm" on base. Security Forces determined that the individual was an undercover law enforcement officer authorized to carry a weapon on base, officials said. The lockdown was lifted after about 15 minutes.

There were no injuries during the incident.
