Man Hit By Car In Alleged Domestic Dispute In Bricktown
Oklahoma City police said a male was struck by a female driver in an alleged dispute late Saturday in Bricktown.
The male was sent to OU Medical Center with injuries. He is in stable condition.
Authorities said the male and female were in a car at the intersection of Mickey Mantle Drive and Johnny Bench Drive when the male stepped out of the passenger side of the vehicle.
"It appeared to be a domestic (situation) with the driver," OCPD Capt. Ronny Beck said. "The driver throws the vehicle into gear and tries to take off. The passenger kept a hold of the passenger side door and fell underneath the vehicle. The passenger was struck by one of the tires of the vehicle and sustained pretty serious injuries."
Police were still questioning the female driver at the scene.
Officials said both people appeared to be intoxicated.
