One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting Monday in southwest Oklahoma City, police said.

Authorities responded to a shooting at the Golden Rule mobile home park located in the 2000 block of S. MacArthur Boulevard.

The double shooting remains under investigation.

Concerned neighbors said it sounded like war unfolding right outside their doors.

Resident Ken Clark said it sounded like there was an exchange of gunfire.

“Multiple people were shooting,” said Clark.

Brendalyn Moore lives nearby and said she was turned away when she came to investigate.

“We just heard the sirens and we saw the helicopters,” said concerned neighbor Moore.

According to police, they responded to a 911 call that reported gunfire, when they arrived, they discovered a body, identified as 24-year-old Randell Dukes III, lying in the driveway of a home.

“When officers arrived, they found two shooting victims one of them was pronounced dead at the scene, the other was transported to an area hospital and is stable,” said Oklahoma City police MSgt. Gary Knight.

And while an arrest was made, neighbors said it brings little comfort to a neighborhood that has seen its fair share of crime.

“Honestly it's really scary. Having kids of my own it's not something you want to live next to,” Moore said. “There's always sirens, there's always something going on up and down this road.”

According to police, the second victim, identified as 19-year-old Alandis Dukes, is expected to survive.

Family members said the victims are brothers.

18-year-old Gael Zamores was arrested in connection with shooting. Zamores has been booked into the Cleveland County Jail on complaints of murder in the first degree, robbery in the first degree and assault and battery with a deadly weapon, according to police.
