Two Arrested And Charged In Prostitution Bust In Northeast OKC
Two people have been arrested in connection to a prostitution bust at a hotel in northeast Oklahoma City.
VICE investigators were sent to the Days Inn off Interstate 35.
When they arrived, they arrested Robert Franklin and Moniqua Kershman.
Investigators said Franklin was the over-watch and held down security for the women inside of Room 228.
According to officials, Franklin placed advertisements on the internet offering sexual services, setting up times to meet and profiting off of it.
Police said Kershman was the woman in the hotel room along with a 17-year-old girl.
Court documents said Kershman asked the teenager to come from Louisiana to Oklahoma to “make some money.”
Kershman has been charged with transporting a minor for prostitution.
Franklin is also facing several charges, including offering a child up for purpose of prostitution.
Franklin and Kershman are still in the Oklahoma County jail.
