Oklahoma State, Nebraska Football To Renew Classic Rivalry
A classic Big Eight Conference rivalry will return to the gridiron.
Oklahoma State and Nebraska announced a future home-and-home series Thursday afternoon.
The Cornhuskers will host the Cowboys on Sept. 16, 2034 in Lincoln. OSU will welcome Nebraska on Sept. 15, 2035 in Stillwater.
According to an OSU athletics press release, Oklahoma State and Nebraska met every football season from 1960 to 1995 in the Big Eight Conference and from 1995 to 2010 in the 12-team version of the Big 12 Conference.
In 2011, Nebraska defected to the Big Ten Conference while OSU remained in the Big 12, which now has 10 football members.
The Huskers have a 37-5-1 all-time record vs. the Cowboys, which includes a 51-41 Nebraska win in their last meeting on Oct. 23, 2010 in Stillwater.
