OKLAHOMA CITY - Police said they think an overnight shooting in northwest Oklahoma City was random.

According to authorities, the victim, identified as Andrew Koomsa, was shot while moving into the Boardwalk Apartment near Northwest Expressway and N MacArthur Boulevard.

Officers said Koomsa was shot in the leg several times. He told officers that he saw a black Acura with dark tinted windows and dim headlights drive away after the shots were fired.

Police said Koomsa was taken a local hospital to be treated for his injuries and is expected to be OK.

According to the report, other residents in the apartment complex said there is not a black Acura that normally park or frequents the area.

There is currently no suspect information.

This is a developing story.
