Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting Thursday morning. A man was shot while making deliveries in the 3200 block of South Irvington Avenue, near 31st and Sheridan.
A man was taken to the hospital in what police said may be a random shooting. The victim was a 28-year-old man who received a non-life threatening wound to the right side of his head, officers said. Police said he was hit by either a bullet or bullet fragment.
The man told police he was making a delivery in the neighborhood as he often does when a vehicle behind them fired shots at the van. There were four shell casings in the street and one bullet hole in the van, according to TPD. Police said they recovered a bullet from the vehicle.
Police said there was a passenger in the van, but that person wasn't hurt.
Officers said witnesses reported seeing a black Honda CRV heading north from the scene on Hudson.
