Apple Jack Sheet Cake

  • 1 spice cake mix
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup apples, diced
  • Cream cheese frosting
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Chopped toasted pecans
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a medium sized bowl, beat together the cake mix, eggs, water, bourbon and butter till there are no lumps.
  4. Stir in the diced apples.
  5. Pour the cake mix into the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes in the middle of the oven or until a toothpick comes out clean from the middle of the cake. 
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
  8. In a small bowl, stir together the cream cheese frosting and cinnamon.
  9. Spread the frosting over the cool cake and sprinkle with toasted chopped pecans.
