After another round of morning showers and thunderstorms, the heat and humidity will crank back up this afternoon.

A heat advisory is in effect through Monday for heat index values up to 110 degrees. We'll have another chance of some showers and thunderstorms this evening and tonight, a few of which could be strong to severe. The best chance for rain will reside in northeast Oklahoma.

Big heat stays with us through the middle of the week before slightly cooler temps and rain chances return late week into next weekend.
