Over the last couple of days, the 20 Democratic candidates running for president have faced off in two debates. I've watched both nights, and I'll be interested to see how the new polls position the candidates.
Here's how I think it played out.
Wednesday night, former Vice President Joe Biden, regained his footing and looked much more on his game than he did in the previous debate, more than holding his own standing next to Senator Kamala Harris, who went after him on segregation last time. His stock is up.
Harris, who made big strides in the last debate, was under fire from several of her fellow Democrats. Wednesday, she came off as defensive and angry in my opinion. She lost ground.
Senator Cory Booker was up and down. He lost points talking down to Biden, but I suspect gained them back calling for impeachment proceedings against President Trump to begin now.
The other big gainer was Elizabeth Warren, who was much more aggressive presenting and defending her ideas on healthcare and immigration.
While Bernie Sanders’ message we've heard before, and I doubt he moved the needle much.
Bottom line, Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren, to me, looked like the big gainers in this round of debates.
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
