One Dead After Vehicle Crashes Into Purcell Mobile Home
PURCELL, Oklahoma - One person is dead after crashing into a mobile home Friday morning in Purcell, authorities confirm.
According to police, a black 2014 Lexus driven by 66-year-old Lawrence Harvey Williams crashed around 2:45 a.m. into a mobile home near South 9th Street and Mantooth Drive.
Police said Williams was traveling northbound on Interstate 35 when he departed to the right for an unknown reason. He then struck the mobile home that sits 90 feet off the roadway.
Williams was pronounced dead on the scene, and was transported to the medical examiner's officer in Oklahoma City.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
