Nearly a century of Logan County history has re-opened in Guthrie. After being closed for four decades, the old Logan County hospital building is now known as “The Villas of Benedictine Pointe.” It is a senior living community for folks 62 and older.
The structure was built in the 1920s, and until it closed in 1978, it served as Logan County’s hospital.
Belmont Management, which has offices in Oklahoma City and Fort Smith, Arkansas has spent the past two years renovating the historic property.
“And we’ve tried to keep it as historically correct as possible,” said Property Manager Jim Martin.
The Villas of Benedictine offers studio, one and two-bedroom apartments. Three dozen units in the main building are available for rent.
