The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed one person has died Saturday in a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City.

Firefighters responded to a call in the 3800 block of NW 14 Street. When they arrived neighbors stated that a man was inside the home.

Crews quickly extinguished the flames, and the victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Both the Oklahoma City Fire Department and the Oklahoma City Police Department are jointly investigating the cause of the fire.
