Thursday marks Oklahoma City Police Chief Bill Citty’s official retirement.
After 15 years running the department, Citty is the longest serving chief in city history.
Citty announced his retirement in January, completing 40 years serving in law enforcement.
Wednesday, the city manager named Jeff Becker as interim chief.
The city manager will also select the permanent replacement.
