Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday morning, following a two car accident in Bethany, according to a witness.
According to officials, the accident took place near Northwest 36th Street and East Overholser Drive.
A red Chevy SUV hit a Ford sedan that was parked in front of a driveway waiting for someone, a witness said. The Chevy took out a trash can before hitting the sedan.
A witness who says she assisted the driver of the Chevy after the accident claims he was drunk and smelled like alcohol.
According to the witness, the two drivers were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
