Talented Oklahoma City Chef Killed In NW OKC Hit-And-Run
OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Police Department said Thursday that the bicyclist critically injured in a hit-run-accident early Thursday morning has died from his injuries.
Police said 31-year-old Chad Epley was riding his bicycle near Northwest 16th Street and Classen Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle.
Oklahoma City police are still searching for the suspect involved.
Police do not have a suspect or vehicle description at this time.
Epley was known as a talented Oklahoma City chef. He worked as a sous-chef at the downtown restaurant Vast.
After hearing of his passing, Vast Chef Kurt Fleischfresser, released a statement saying:
Chad was very passionate about being a chef. It was a privilege seeing him come into his own both as a person and chef. He will be greatly missed by the Vast family.
