Pizza 101 & Easy Pizza Crust
Here is the easiest pizza dough that comes out perfect every time!
Easy Pizza Dough:
3 1/2 all-purpose flour
12 oz. water
2 1/4 teaspoons quick rise yeast
1/8 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Flour for dusting
In a small bowl stir the yeast and sugar into the water and allow it to sit 5 minutes. Put the flour in a medium sized bowl. Add the salt and olive oil. Mix into the flour. Drizzle the oil Into the flour mixture and stir together. Once the yeast has gotten bubbles on top and looks frothy. Pour the yeast water into the flour mixture and stir together into a ball forms then place the dough balls onto a generously floured surface need the dough ball until it becomes smooth and then cut into 4 equal pieces. Drizzle olive oil inside a deli container and place the pizza dough ball into the deli container and roll to coat in the olive oil. Put a lid on it and allow it to sit for one hour to double in size before using.
TO BAKE: Preheat oven to the HIGHEST SETTING YOUR OVEN CAN GO! Make sure that if you use a stone or a pizza steel that you preheat it with the oven!
*** Dough can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Take out of the fridge and allow dough to come to room temperature and rise to double the size before using.
*** Freeze dough in deli containers for up to 3 months. Remove from the freezer and allow the dough to thaw and then rise to double its size before using!
