Man Candy

Man Candy

1 pound thick cut bacon

2 tablespoon bourbon

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 cups dark or milk chocolate

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Sprinkles or flakes sea salt

Preheat oven to 425° here in line a baking sheet with foil and then place a piece of parchment paper on top of the foil. Lay the bacon link-wise On the baking sheet. In a small bowl mix together the maple syrup and bourbon. Brush the syrup mixture over the top of the bacon and bake for 20 minutes. Flip the bacon 10 minutes into cooking so the other side can brown. Remove from the oven and place the bacon on a parchment lined sheet pan to cool. Pour the chocolate chips into a wide rim and Mason jar. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and 30 second intervals stirring between until melted. Did the bacon and into the hot chocolate and then sat on parchment paper sprinkle with valentine sprinkles or flaked sea salt.
