Britton Road To Be Partially Closed In The Village For Road Improvements During 2019

Britton Road will be under construction for 10 months, the City of The Village announced.

The roadway will be closed in four phases during the 10 months.

Phase 1 will be from January to April.

Motorists will be able to go east all the way from May to Pennsylvania on Britton.
Motorists will be able to go west all the way to Village Drive then detour to May Avenue.
Motorists will not be able to go west from Village Drive to May on Britton.

Phase 1A will be from May to July.

Motorists will be able to go east all the way from May to Pennsylvania on Britton.
Motorists will be able to west from Village Drive to May on Britton.
Motorists will not be able to go west from Pennsylvania to Village Drive on Britton.

Phase 2 will be from August to September.

Motorists will be able to go west all the way from Pennsylvania to May on Britton.
Motorists will be able to go east from Village Drive to Pennsylvania on Britton.
Motorists will not be able to go east from May to Village Drive on Britton.

Phase 2A will be from October to November.

Motorists will be able to go west all the way from Pennsylvania to May on Britton.
Motorists will be able to go east from May to Village Drive on Britton.
Motorists will not be be able to go east from Village Drive to Pennsylvania on Britton.

The City of The Village said these time frames for the the phases are estimates but the construction must be done by the end of November 2019.
