On Wednesday the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Tulsa District Office got information from the Tulsa Office of Homeland Security investigators that a package was seized by the United States Customs and Border Protection which contained a half pound of ecstasy.

“The package was opened. 500 ecstasy pills are found and it’s to be delivered to a Tulsa address,” Casey Roebuck with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police say that package was addressed to a home on 3rd Street in Tulsa.

“We go ahead and allow the delivery today and a man by the name of Jeremy Singer accepts delivery of the package,” Roebuck said.

In addition to the ecstasy pills, Singer, 36, admitted to having approximately five pounds of marijuana, marijuana edibles, scales, mushrooms, marijuana vapors, oxycotin, Viagra and various paraphernalia.

“He’s taken full responsibility for this. He has a previous conviction so it’s a lot more serious charge at this point,” Roebuck added.

Singer is the owner of a Tulsa Food Truck called, “Chicken Fried Bus.” According to his arrest report, he told investigators he hands out free marijuana joints to the homeless.

“We appreciate anyone who feeds someone who's hungry but it's not legal to dispense drugs and it's certainly not legal to give marijuana to the homeless population nor is that going to help them get back on their feet,” Roebuck said.

Earlier this month Singer organized a charity event in the parking lot of a church downtown Tulsa. On his food truck, Facebook page pictures were posted showing the group handing out clothes, hats, and food to those in need.

News on 6 went to Singer’s home Wednesday night. The food truck was parked in the driveway. It’s unclear if any drugs were uncovered inside the truck or only in his home.

When we went to the front door a woman opened the door and said, “We have no comment.” Another woman came out of the house, crossed the street to meet with our reporter and said, “I know he’s a piece of s*** but what are you going to do? It’s not just about him.”

“He admitted that he was going on the Dark Net and paying for these items, usually they pay by bitcoin and he had been successful in getting it in the past. So, he said, the last time he ordered this he ordered ecstasy off the Dark Web he got 60 pills he was able to sell for 10-dollars a piece. So, this time, he decided to up his order to 500.” Roebuck said.

Singer, who is on probation has been arrested on previous drug-related charges.
