After the news conference showdown between President Trump and CNN reporter Jim Acosta, the White House suspended Acosta’s press credentials. Then, the federal court gave them back. So, the White House issued new rules for reporter behavior during news events.

Here's what you had to say about it:

Lisa first, "Acosta refused to show respect to the President and his fellow journalists.

The judge should never have reinstated him."

Jessica adds, "What is pathetic is that an "adult" is being told to follow rules and respect the office of the President, things that I learned as 5-year-old."

But Sandy says, "Sorry Kelly, but respect is a two-way street. The office gives no one the right to treat or talk about the press/anyone the way our current president has."

And Eric writes, "The President sees the media, YOU MR. OGLE, as the enemy to our country. You put out one story he doesn't like, and he'll label you "fake news."

From Deborah, "It is a sad state of affairs when common courtesy needs to be defined."

Charles aims at me, "Kelly your Trump support is showing badly here. Acosta did nothing wrong.”

And Elizabeth offering some common sense, "That was two boys fighting over toys. The thing to do would have been to meet with him privately about his behavior and they could have tried to find some kind of common ground."

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's Your 2 Cents.
