Crash Along I-35 Near Hefner Kills 1

Troopers confirm a 22-year-old was killed following a collision in Oklahoma City, Sunday night. 

Officials said the crash occurred along Interstate 35 near Hefner Road at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The crash was caused when the driver traveled northbound on I-35 and departed the roadway to the right, crossing all lanes of traffic and then struck the median barrier wall. Troopers said the driver was traveling an unsafe speed.

The victim, identified as Troung Nguyen, was transported to OU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel from head and chest injuries.
