Suspects Steal Trailer And Lead Police On Pursuit In MWC

Police were involved in a pursuit in Midwest City after a caller reported a utility trailer was being stolen.

Officers caught up with the suspects which initiated a short pursuit before 5 a.m. Police report the suspects drove through the Joe Barnes Regional Park, located near south Douglas Boulevard and Southeast 15th Street.

The suspects then abandoned the truck and stolen trailer at a trailer park near southeast 29th Street and south Douglas Boulevard. Several fences and street signs were damaged during the pursuit.

Officers set up a perimeter in the area to locate the suspects.

No arrests were made.
