2 Men Arrested On Lewd Acts Charges With A Child Under 16

Two men were arrested after sending pictures of their anatomy to undercover deputies they thought were 14-year-old girls, according to Canadian County Sheriff Chris West.

On Monday, Sept. 24, Canadian County investigators arrested Christopher Wade, 47, of Duncan, on a charge of lewd acts with a child under 16. The investigation began on Aug. 8, when Wade began talking to an undercover investigator on a social media app, and the conversation became sexual in nature, deputies said.

Wade initially told the undercover investigator that he was 15-years-old, according to authorities. Wade then asked the undercover deputy if she liked older guys and began describing graphic sexual acts, referring to himself as “Daddy,” officials said.

Wade left various messages about the sex acts he wanted to perform on and with her and agreed to a meeting in Mustang, said deputies. 

The Canadian County Sheriff’s Office along with the Duncan Police Department said they then located Wade and arrested him. Investigators said Wade admitted to them that he believed he was talking to a 14-year-old girl on social media, as well as to sending a nude photograph of himself.

Wade was transported to the Canadian County Jail and booked on the charge of Lewd Acts With a Child Under 16. Wade’s bond was established at $50,000, and he remains in custody.

On Tuesday, Sept. 25, Canadian County Sheriff investigators arrested Jonathan Deskin, 27, of Yukon for Lewd Acts with a Child Under 16.  The investigation started when Deskin began talking to an undercover investigator on a popular social media app, according to deputies.

Deskin was told he was talking to a 14-year-old female and said he would like to have sex with her, investigators said. According to deputies, Deskin told the undercover investigator he wanted to pick her up from her house. He said all she had to do was just get in his truck and they would go, authorities said. Deskin even taunted the undercover decoy as being “chicken” for waiting to meet, according to officers.

Deskin sent the decoy a picture of his anatomy, and once a location was setup for Deskin to meet the decoy he arrived at the area within 15 minutes, said the authorities.

“Deskin’s aggressiveness to meet for sex with the under aged girl forced my investigators to move quickly, and coordinate with marked Sheriff’s Patrol Division units while they were actually in route to meet with Deskin,” West said.

Deputies said they surrounded Deskin and apprehended him. He admitted to talking with the decoy, said officers. Deskin was transported to Canadian County Detention jail and booked for Lewd Acts With a Child Under 16.

“I’m very proud of the work we’re doing to safeguard children from those who would do them harm,” West said.
