Oklahoma City fire fighters extinguished flames at a business on the southwest side overnight.
Officials arrived at the scene after midnight Wednesday near southwest 34th Street and Council Road. Fire Dispatchers were requested to send firefighters to this address because of an Automatic Water Flow Alarm.
When crews arrived, they reported visible smoke issuing from the roof vents of a large warehouse. Firefighters said the fire was located in the warehouse portion, and likely started in an area where a cutting torch had been used earlier in the day.
The Automatic Sprinkler System activated and kept the fire from becoming too big, crews reported.
Damage to the structure was reported around $5,000.
No injuries were reported.
