Things are suddenly looking up for a 9-year-old boy in Hinton.

Two weeks ago, Kevin McBee invited his entire third-grade class to his birthday party, and not one of his classmate’s attended. After his mother posted a sad photo of her son on Facebook, the family’s been receiving birthday cards and presents from literally all over the world.

"Oh we want to say thank you so much. You don't know how much this means to us or him," said the boy's mother, Brandy McBee.

Brandy and James McBee's son Kevin struggles with autism.

His mother's original Facebook post spread like wildfire. Many organizations, including Ride Oklahoma Charities saw it, and are planning a massive birthday party Saturday afternoon in Hinton for Kevin.

They expect as many as a thousand people to attend.

"You know it unbelievable. I guess it;s just one of those things that catches people's hearts. The power of social media. Oh yeas absolutely," said David Dunn from Ride Oklahoma Charities.

Operation Christmas Train Set Foundation Director Dustin Fisher said he's not worried about the weather.

"If it rains, shines, heck it could snow six foot as far as I'm concerned. Santa Claus is gonna be there," said Fisher.

Brandy McBee said Kevin has been getting birthday cards and gifts from people from across the world.

Ride Oklahoma Charities said if the weather is really bad Saturday, a couple hundred bikers will still be there. They'll just ride in cars.
