Police are investigating after four suspects in a stolen vehicle fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident before pointing a gun at the victim.

The victim of the hit-and-run accident told police he was driving near OCCC in southwest Oklahoma City when he was side-swiped by a silver truck.  Steve Hughes who was driving the vehicle said he pursued the truck when one person in the vehicle pointed a weapon at him.

“Yeah two of them jumped out of the vehicle at the corner of 88th and May. One of them pulled up a shotgun. That’s whenever I reversed and got back away from them a little bit. When they heard I was with dispatch, one jumped back inside the truck. One jumped into the bed with a gun, pointed the gun at me while the other one got back inside the truck. And I just stayed back away from em,” said Hughes.

The suspects eventually stopped inside a neighborhood near southwest 86th and Miller where they hit a second vehicle, a minivan, parked outside a home.

Officers performed a search in the area for the suspects. According to the victim, there were three males and one female inside the truck.

Police confirm the truck was stolen out of Moore. The shotgun was recovered by police.

Police have confirmed one arrest while three suspects are still outstanding.
