Suspect Arrested After Leading Police On A Pursuit Through NW OKC

One man is in custody after an overnight suspect chase and search through the metro.

Oklahoma City Police report after running the suspect's information, officers discovered the suspect had warrants out of Marshall County.

According to scanners, the incident began near northwest 10th and Pennsylvania Avenue when officers tried to pull the driver over. Officers deployed stop sticks which worked on two of the tires.

The suspect bailed from his vehicle near northwest 63rd and Portland Avenue and took off on foot.

Air 1 assisted in the chase. Authorities arrested the suspect without incident after finding him hiding in a backyard near Edgwater Drive and Portland Avenue

The suspect's name has not been released.
