Caylen Goff-Brown is a name we might say a lot in the future when it comes to high school hoops.

This past weekend, the Tulsa youngster played in Chris Paul's exclusive camp for the nation’s top freshmen in North Carolina.

"We would have group sessions at the gym and none of them could guard me," Goff-Brown said.

Caylen Goff-Brown is used to playing against players 2 to 3 years older than him. The rising freshman emulates his game from, "Trae Young  ... the way he's smooth with the ball .. he can dribble, he can shoot."

He said he puts up over 600 shots a day.

"The best player is always somebody up next … it's not really easy to keep the same spot the whole time," said Goff-Brown.

With that mindset, the Class of 2022 guard could make his name on a national scale sooner than later. Over this weekend in Greensboro North Carolina, Goff-Brown is taking part in the exclusive invite-only CP3 Rising Stars Camp for the top incoming freshman in the country. Only 75 got the invite.

"He's grown 6 inches since last August, so that has helped him to rebound more, play better defensively, with all those combined I said it was time to make it happen," said Caylen’s father BJ.

BJ wanted to get more exposure and competition, good thing he was friends with his son's favorite player's father, Rayford Young.

"He said I was having dinner with Chris Paul's dad. I'll mention something to him about the camp … and I said 'Okay',” BJ said.

This weekend Goff-Brown looks to show off his shooting skills in front of the best in the U.S.

"You're with some of the best players in the country … make a couple friends but still go at them," BJ said.
