There are new, disturbing details about what happened to two Moore murder victims after they were shot and killed on April 14.

Court documents reveal their bodies were dismembered at an OKC property. Search warrants filed in Oklahoma County show the long list of items police found at that property, including several kinds of saws and cleaning supplies.

For the last two weeks, two families have been hurting.

Court documents said 21-year-old Alize Smith and 21-year old Jarron Moreland were murdered in a van outside a Crest at 12th and Eastern in Moore.

According to an affidavit, 16-year-old Brett Boettler pulled the trigger and his brother, Kevin Garcia-Boettler sped out of the parking lot to the property near 50th and Sooner, where Johnny Barker helped sink the bodies in a pond.

When police located them days later, documents said "it was found the bodies had been dismembered."

“I won’t get to see my only son ever again,” said Destiny Smith, Alize’s mother. “Not only was he taken, I cannot even bury him the proper way.”

Alize's mother has her own thoughts about the motive.

“A hate crime,” she said.

Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn said his office looked into the possibility of this being a hate crime and he said the investigation showed the victims were attempting to rob the suspects when the shooting occurred, therefore it was determined that the motive was not race related.

Brett Boettler faces charges of murder in the first degree, murder in the second degree, unlawful removal of a dead body, desecration of a human corpse and possession of a firearm after delinquent adjudication. Court records showed a judge set his bond at $5,000,000. A preliminary hearing conference is set for May 22.

Kevin Garcia-Boettler faces charges of accessory after the fact and unlawful removal of a dead body.

Johnny Barker faces charges of accessory after the fact, unlawful removal of a body and desecration of a human corpse.

Crystal Boettler, the suspects’ mother, faces one charge of accessory after the fact.
