OKC Police Officer Facing Multiple Complaints Of Child Sex Abuse
OKLAHOMA CITY - An Oklahoma City Police officer is behind bars, accused of committing multiple child sex crimes.
Detectives arrested 30-year-old Austin Brackeen, Wednesday evening, on three complaints of child sex abuse. The investigation first began on March 20, but based on information gathered, the alleged abuse began back in November 2017, after Brackeen returned from a military deployment overseas, court documents state.
Authorities say Brackeen was charged in Canadian County, but also said the alleged crimes occurred in multiple locations in Oklahoma.
Brackeen is currently on paid administrative leave pending the investigation. According to police, Brackeen is a patrol officer and has been with OKCPD for two years.
