A veteran firefighter with the Oklahoma City Fire Department was arrested over the weekend for public intoxication and a weapons complaint.

Police arrested 54-years-old Terry Scott Allen just before 1 a.m. on Saturday near Interstate 44 northbound and SW 58th Street. Details of the arrest have not yet been released.

Allen was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on complaints of public intoxication, carrying a firearm while under the influence and failure to notify DPS of changes. His bond was set at $3,000.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department confirmed with News 9, Tuesday evening, that Allen is employed with the department, and has been so for 22 years. Allen holds the rank of corporal with OKCFD. The department is investigating this incident, but they say Allen has not been placed on leave.
