A small earthquake was reported Saturday in northwest Oklahoma, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The 3.1-magnitude earthquake happened shortly before 5 p.m. in Alfalfa County. The earthquake was about two miles north, northwest of Lambert, 38 miles northwest of Enid and 100 miles north, northwest of Oklahoma City.

The quake was more than four miles deep.

No immediate reports of damage or injury were reported.
