Holiday Gingerbread Ornaments

**DO NOT EAT**

  • 2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 4 tablespoon Elmer's glue
  • 3 cups cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Holiday cookie cutters
  • Plastic wrap
  • Straw or pointed skewer
  • Holiday twine and ribbon
  • Puff paint
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Stir together and then using your hands mix together to form a ball.
  3. Separate the dough ball into 2 balls.
  4. Roll out the dough to a 1/4-1/2 inch thickness and cut out with your favorite holiday cutter.
  5. Place the ornaments on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  6. Using a skewer place hole in your desired spot for hanging.  
  7. Cook in a 200 degree oven for 1-2 hours.
  8. Once the ornament are cool.
  9. Decorate with puffy paint and string on decorative ribbon!
