During his news conference on Monday, President Obama refused to be baited into criticizing President-elect Trump, that's admirable and will pave the way for an easier transition.

Here's what you had to say:

Richard in Pauls Valley first, "..his comments so far have pointed to a smooth change over between the two, I wish he would do more to condemn the violence being used in the protest."

Greg appreciates that President Obama is "..doing his best to put the past between he & Trump behind them & move forward for the betterment of our country, as they should. Hopefully it's sincere."

Several of you were cautiously hopeful like that...

Peggy said, "I hope he really means it. If it comes out he is doing something behind everyone's back to do bad . Then he would go down as the worst president in history."

And Pamela in Mustang added, "I pray he is sincere. I will believe it when the transition is finished."

Cheryl asks, "How about a Presidential opinion about Not having violence!"

Christi in Moore, "Obama demonstrates class and a graceful exit to his Presidency. ... I'm hoping Trump conducts himself more like a President than the looney behavior from his campaign.

Finally, it sounds like Aggie is burned out on politics, "We don't need anyone 2 cents. That's how stuff get started between people. Talk about Christmas sales."

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
