Reporter Justin Dougherty had the chance to talk with Governor Fallin today and get reaction to the Trump victory, as well as, her thoughts on being part of his administration.
The Governor has been a staunch supporter of Donald Trump and it was even rumored for a while early this summer that he was considering her as a possible running mate.
Fallin did some campaigning for Trump in the last week of the campaign, hitting rallies in key battleground states like Virginia, Wisconsin, and Colorado.
She says, after seeing firsthand the excitement at those rallies and intensity of the support, she felt in her heart he would win.
Recent reports have Fallin on Trump's shortlist for Secretary of the Interior. We asked her if she thought she would be leaving Oklahoma for Washington.
Fallin says she remains focused on doing the work that's needed here in Oklahoma, and says she has already been meeting with legislative leaders about initiatives for the coming session.
