Oakdale Baptist Church Pastor, Dr. Justin Ford, is writing a series of short letters of advice to the next President. His latest says, “don't try to win our approval, but earn our respect by doing what you say you'll do.”

I asked you for a piece of advice for the next President, Loretta says, "Pray! Seek God's Guidance Daily! Our Nation's Future Depends on it!"

From Kevin, "Preserve your integrity, character, honesty, etc. no matter the cost, so that future generations of children will actually have something to aspire to."

Pat writes, "Fire everyone at the State Dept. and the DOJ, don't forget who your bosses are, we the people hired you, we can fire you."

Steeley warns, "Do not get all hung up on creating a "Legacy" because like Lincoln your true legacy may only be known years after you take your last breath."

From David, "Carefully consider why the media were given certain protections under the law, then analyze their behavior and begin the process of reevaluating those protections."

Cindy writes, "Do not be partisan. Do what's right, regardless of which party came up with the idea."

Finally, Kellie says, be bold, "Stand up and make changes!"
