OHP Trooper Injured In Crash On EB Turner Turnpike

A crash caused major traffic issues for vehicles traveling eastbound on Interstate 44.

Emergency crews were initially called out to reports of an injury crash involving an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper (OHP) on the Turner Turnpike, near mile marker 145.

The cause of the crash is unclear. A pickup and a small white sedan were involved and an OHP trooper did sustain an injury to the leg.

Luther PD and OHP both arrived shortly after to work the scene. Traffic along the highway was shut down to one lane
