I watched tonight's vice presidential debate very closely, because as I said if elected, Donald Trump would be our oldest president sworn in, or Hillary Clinton would be our second oldest.

It's more important than ever that we know about that person who is just a heartbeat away from being president.

Democrat Tim Kaine, even when he was making good points against Donald Trump, was very aggressive and constantly interrupting his opponent and moderator.

When he wasn't being disruptive, he was much more effective, like his answer on being a pro-life.

Republican running mate Mike Pence was extremely reserved at first, but warmed up to the attacks, and looked much more in command of the debate than Kaine.

He fired back on the "basket of deplorables" line from Clinton.

He had to parry a lot of blows directed toward Trump, but did so effectively most of the time, some others he skirted around the issues.

I was watching tonight to see who seems best suited for the the Oval Office if they have to take that seat. Kaine was so busy attacking, I didn't have a chance to gauge that. I got a better handle on Pence.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing them debate again.

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
