The Transportation Security Administration says it's fixed the extremely long security lines but they could be making a comeback soon.

At one point, travelers were waiting for hours at some of the nation's busiest airports. TSA blamed it on an increase in air travel and a shortage of security officers. The agency responded by hiring 1,300 new officers and converting another 1,800 part-time workers to full time.

Now, TSA's chief says the agency may have to get rid of those workers if Congress can't agree on a budget by this weekend. His comments were made at a recent event in Washington D-C.
