As Oklahoma continues to shake at least a few lawmakers are trying to do something about all the earthquakes.

The focus has been on what we can do in our state but House Minority Leader Scott Inman questions what we can do with what's coming into our state.

Inman says the earthquakes are caused by wastewater injection wells. He wants the state to consider stopping trucks that bring in waste water from out-of-state to pump into our ground.

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission says Oklahoma does dispose of waste water from other states and other states take some of our waste water.

Last year, two percent of the water disposed of in Oklahoma was from other states.

The OCC looked into some sort of a stop and was advised under legal opinion that stopping the transport of waste water between states would violate a federal law.
