A memorial service will be held Tuesday for murder victim Salman Tahir. Midwest City police are still looking for the man who shot and killed Tahir, a clerk at GI's Market.
What police and neighbors in the area said is frustrating is that the clerk was killed even after he complied with the robber and handed over some cash.
Loyal customers are now trying to help in any way they can, passing out surveillance pictures of the man police are now calling their suspect. Police said they are still looking for that man.
Tahir leaves behind a wife and a toddler. A memorial for Tahir is scheduled for Tuesday at the Grand Mosque on N.W. 48th Street in Oklahoma City at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Staff at GI's Market are considering changing the name of the store to Sam's Market in honor of the victim.
